These rules are established as part rules of Labor Standard Law in order to prevent organic solvents toxicosis.
Organic solvents are classified to Class I (7 solvents), Class II (40 solvents) and Class III (7 solvents) in toxicity degreasing order, and in case of using classified solvent kinds of notification to the Labor Standard Inspection Office etc..
Rules decide various obligations: selection of chief worker of organic solvents, setting suitable apparatus to blow out, measurement of working environment, medical examination on organic solvent etc.
